Camouflage Makeup

Today for my first attempt at camouflage makeup I covered up a tattoo. First of all I needed to cancel out the dark colour of the design, so painted over just the tattooed area using D30 orange from the Derma Colour cream camouflage palette. Then, after putting translucent fixing powder over the orange to ensure it wouldn't start to blend out, I used a mixture of camouflage creams to colour match the client's skin tone. Once I had found a good shade, I started to build on top of the orange and blend it out over the skin, until I felt the coverage was good enough. To finish, I put a coloured fixing powder over that to make it appear more like the real skin. Overall I feel it turned out quite well, as you couldn't tell there was a tattoo there before :-)
