Black Water Lilies

Arms are reaching for my arms,
I can see no more
We dance as we float around,
We head towards the ocean floor

These are a few photos from my avant garde assessment. The theme was music so I based mine on a song called Black Water Lilies by Aurora. The lyrics have a lot of imagery of magic and nature, so I thought it would be a nice song to do. I chose the colours black, white, bluey purple & red/pink because these are the colours I feel suit the song. I used padding, twists and braids in my model's hair, and also wrote some lyrics and music notation from the song on her neck & arms. I wanted it to look like there's a bit too much going on because that's almost what the song is like to me.
